This year, we also closely followed the Odoo Experience event, where as usual, Odoo presents the new Odoo release annually, which this time was Odoo 18.
As we write with every new version release, the software quality keeps getting better, and it's the same now. But what probably interests everyone more is what new features they've introduced. These generally mean new apps or the renewal of existing ones.
Of course, we're talking about the Odoo 18 Enterprise version, as the announcement and release always revolve around this. It's no coincidence since Odoo packs almost all new features exclusively into the Enterprise version. Based on this development direction, it's clear that Odoo follows the Open Core principle with Odoo Community, as it's the foundation upon which other useful Enterprise functionalities are built.
The detailed list of innovations can be found in the release announcement, accessible via the link below, but we must highlight that Odoo 18 includes Hungarian NAV-compatible invoicing. It's true that this feature was also added to the current version 17 a few months ago, which is unusual, but definitely a significant step forward.
